The municipality of Middelburg has various development and restructuring plans for the location of Ramsburg. The reason for this is the construction of the N57 road between the eastern edge of Middelburg and the Walcheren National Landscape. Vista was asked for a vision and a plan for the transformation and finishing of this new urban edge. 

Part of this included a careful integration of the new office building of Delta and an investigation into the possible integration of other functions such as a recreational node for the National Landscape. The project site is conceived as a connective element. A robust design allows for spatial coherence and avoids possible fragmentation caused by land ownership issues and zoning regulations.
