For the renovation of Burgemeester in ‘t Veldpark Vista opted to provide the somewhat scattered park with a clear structure. 

The public facilities and activities are concentrated in the central area on both sides of the Gouw River.This area will get a qualitative design and intensive management, including a tearoom and a boat rental facility. The other park areas will be imbued with a natural character and more extensive management. The meandering network of trails was designed so that all trails lead to the central area on the banks of the Gouw. Three new bridges were developed for this purpose. An entirely new wetland landscape has been developed in the western part of the park contributing to water storage in the region.
