The landscape as the Romans would have experienced it around the beginning of our calendar, is the inspiration for this vision. 

The Romans settled here on the higher ridges in the middle of the river swamp. These ridges still offer a good foundation for new living, working and leisure environments. The subtle differences from high to low ground and from sandy to clay soils provide an opportunity to achieve a sustainable and differentiated design strategy.  A contemporary expression of a rich past is achieved.
