Sibeliuspark

The 17-hectare Sibeliuspark is outdated and due for a facelift. Vista’s award-winning park design can be summarized in 6 principles: safeguard beautiful locations, develop free spaces, develop a cohesive network of routes, construct park rooms along the route, make inviting park entrances and a prominent road image at the entrance to the city.

These principles have been combined in an integral urban development, architectural and landscape design. The bicycle routes that now run around the park will go through the park and have easily recognizable entrances. The lively and safe main route will be replete with park rooms with their own function and facilities and three new housing clusters. The addition of extra relief, plants planted in an ecological foundation and specially designed park objects will ensure solid cohesion.
